Terms of Service

Wander Studio is operated by Ana Laura Aguilar Castillo, an individual sole proprietor based in Costa Rica (“Wander Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). If the operator changes — for example, if the business is later organized as a company — these Terms will be updated to specify and reflect the new operating entity.

Wander Studio is an AI-powered travel itinerary planner. You provide details such as a destination, dates, budget, number of travelers, and travel style, and the Service generates a suggested day-by-day itinerary that may include accommodation ideas, activities, and estimated costs. Wander Studio is a digital travel publisher and planning aid, not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking service.

You are solely responsible for independently verifying any information before you rely on it. In particular, prices, availability, opening hours, travel times, and the existence or suitability of any place or activity can be wrong or change without notice. Wander Studio does not provide professional travel, legal, financial, medical, safety, or visa or immigration advice. Before you travel, confirm entry requirements, visa and passport rules, health and vaccination requirements, local laws, and safety conditions with official and authoritative sources. Any decisions you make based on an itinerary are made at your own discretion and risk.

To use most features you need an account, which you can create with an email and password or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding contract, to use the Service.

Wander Studio offers a free plan and a paid subscription:

• ✦Free — up to 2 itineraries per calendar month, at no cost.
• ✦Wanderer — US $12 per month, with up to 10 itineraries per calendar month.

Plan quotas reset at the start of each calendar month. A single shared monthly counter applies per calendar month regardless of plan changes during that month: if you upgrade mid-month, itineraries you have already generated that month count toward your new plan’s monthly limit.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals, and your paid features remain available through the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law or by Creem’s refund policy, payments are non-refundable. We may change plan pricing or features, and will give reasonable advance notice of changes that affect an active subscription.

You agree not to:

• ✦use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• ✦attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• ✦scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract content, or use automated means to access the Service in a way that places an unreasonable load on it;
• ✦resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission;
• ✦reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code or underlying models, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law; or
• ✦submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to submit.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, and visual assets, is owned by Wander Studio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial travel planning. You may use the itineraries you generate for your own trips. You retain rights to the inputs you provide, and you grant us the limited license described in Section 8 so we can operate the Service.

“Your content” means the trip details and other inputs you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and use your content solely to provide and improve the Service, including sending relevant inputs to our AI provider to generate your itineraries. You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the right to submit it. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting), Google (optional sign-in), Creem (payments), and an AI provider (itinerary generation). Your use of features involving these providers may be subject to their terms. The Service may also link to third-party websites we do not control; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any itinerary or information will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wander Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wander Studio from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably need to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the competent courts of Costa Rica, except where mandatory law grants you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
